Puppies Discover Their Water Bowl ..

First they sniffed the strange, shiny, object ..

.. soon they discovered another pup staring back at them ..

.. after a few minutes it was safe to take a few licks of cold water ..

.. it was still more interesting 

to see their very own reflection for the first time ..

.. how cute it was to see them experience something as simple as water ..

.. then they noticed I had something interesting ..

.. my camera ..

.. such curious looks ..

.. sniff, sniff ..

 

.. I wish I could have taken pics of each 

fuzzy face individually ..

.. it was getting late

and it was now time to say 

Good Night !

Sunny Autumn Afternoon

Today was the perfect autumn day ..

.. today was also the first day

the puppies felt grass ..

.. and found leaves ..

.. maple leaves were everywhere ..

.. and on everyone ..

- Butter & Biscuit -

these two pups have the plushest coats 

.. mama also had fun chasing her pups around the yard ..

.. once they got used to their new & exciting environment

they started to explore .. 

.. finding large leaves and proudly carrying them around ..

.. time for a rest ..

.. and back to a little more playtime ..

A Day in the Red Barn ..

.. here is a small glimpse of what goes on behind the doors of

 the Red Barn ..

.. I don't want have to choose a favorite but

this light, colored, cream boy

with his very fuzzy looking head is my favorite ..

.. here he is again,

I like to call him Biscuit ..

ok, 

I have another favorite ..

.. this black male,

he is also very fuzzy 

and is starting to get his wavy coat ..

.. he always has a curious way about him ..

maybe a little naughty

the Puppies are 28 days old today !

It's hard to believe

 the pups are now approaching their 4th week

and are changing so much everyday !

We are now able to tell who's who

and have started giving them nick names.

And of course mama is trying

to get some attention too ..

Puppies First Meal

.. there was no hesitation

 when we set the puppies in front of their solid food for the first time ..

.. each one had their own dish ..

.. meal time was a BIG success ..
